The New Pathways Foundation is proud to launch BECOME the next coach, a five-day immersive camp that uses sport as a tool to develop leadership, confidence, and community engagement among First Nations youth.
This camp is designed for young people who wish to explore their potential, build skills, and take part in a meaningful and structured experience supported by their community.

- 📍 Location: Near Québec City
(Duchesnay Tourist Station & potential activities at Université Laval) - 🌍 Language: The camp will be offered in English
- 👥 Target audience: First Nations youth aged 18 to 21
Camp Objectives
The BECOME the next coach camp aims to offer First Nations youth an immersive experience that will enable them to:

Explore careers related to sport and coaching

Develop their confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills

Take part in a hands-on experience that can be applied within their community after the camp (e.g., supporting local coaches, youth sports activities, interschool games, health promotion events, etc.)

Build and expand their network by connecting with athletes, coaches, partners, and university environments

Encourage self-awareness through action, including talking circles, moments of reflection, and guided discussions

Equip youth to actively contribute to well-being, sports, and recreational activities within their community
Registration Process
Registration for the BECOME the next coach camp requires two mandatory steps:
