Wendake, July 11, 2023 – The New Pathways Foundation extends its gratitude for the donation of over $6,500 from the Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec for camp equipment.
Thanks to the support of Mr. Michel Cardinal, the owner of the Quebec Canadian Tire store, the New Pathways Foundation has received support from the Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec through the Charitable Donations program. This program was established to help charitable organizations within the communities of the 100 Canadian Tire stores in Quebec.
The donation of various equipment, valued at over $6,500, offered by the Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec, is of great assistance to the New Pathways Foundation. Through this generous contribution, the New Pathways Foundation can expand its impact and enhance the experience of its Camps initiative. Young participants will have access to a wide range of quality equipment, enabling them to engage in exciting sports and recreational activities. This donation reinforces the New Pathways Foundation’s commitment to youth and contributes to the positive impact of Camps on their physical, emotional, and social development.

The New Pathways Foundation is an organization dedicated to engaging and supporting First Nations youth in Quebec in their well-being, individual and collective development, and growth. It actively works to provide positive, educational, and culturally sensitive experiences for youth in the 42 communities it serves. The Camps are designed to promote the holistic development of participants by offering stimulating activities, learning opportunities, and enriching interactions. Through strategic partnerships like the one with the Bon départ Foundation of Canadian Tire, the New Pathways Foundation can realize its vision and create a lasting impact in the lives of young people.
The Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec
The Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec is dedicated to the well-being of children and adults living in vulnerable situations by providing respite stays and vacation camps at its Bon départ Outdoor Base. It also supports community organizations to improve the quality of life for children and their families, particularly by contributing to the development of healthy lifestyles and their well-being.
Since its creation in 1990, the Fondation Bon départ has provided over $29 million for its charitable assistance program and its Bon départ Outdoor Base.
